The short version
We collect what we need to take an order, ship it, and support it — nothing more. We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent our customer list, and we never share what you ordered with advertisers or data brokers.
1. Who we are
Element Labs ("we," "us") operates this site and is the data controller for information collected through it. Contact us at privacy@elementlabs.example with any question about this policy.
2. What we collect
Name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you provide one, order contents, and the text of any message, review, or support request you send.
IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and timestamps. This is standard web-server and analytics data used for security and to understand how the site is used.
We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials — those go directly to our payment processor. We do not collect health information, and you should not send us any.
3. How we use it
We process your information to fulfill and ship orders, take payment, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, meet our legal and tax obligations, and — only if you opt in — send occasional product email. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
We rely on performance of a contract to fulfill orders, legitimate interests for fraud prevention and site security, consent for marketing email and non-essential cookies, and legal obligation for records we're required to keep.
5. Who we share it with
We share only what a provider needs to do its job, and only with these categories:
— Payment processors, to charge your order and screen for fraud.
— Shipping carriers, to deliver your package (name and address only).
— Infrastructure and email vendors, to host the site and send transactional messages.
— Legal authorities, when we're required by valid legal process, and in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
6. Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and cannot be turned off. Analytics cookies help us measure traffic and are set only with your consent where required. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though the cart may stop working if you block essential ones.
7. How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires — typically seven years. Support correspondence is kept up to three years. Marketing contacts are removed promptly on unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated within 90 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, opt out of marketing, and — under the CCPA/CPRA — limit use of sensitive information and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. EEA/UK residents may also object to or restrict processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To make a request, email privacy@elementlabs.example. We respond within 45 days and may need to verify your identity against an existing order before acting.
9. Security
The site is served over TLS, payment data is tokenized by our processor, and access to order records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.
10. International transfers
We operate from the United States, and our vendors may process data there. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.
11. Age restriction
This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn we've collected data from someone under 18, we delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced on this page, and by email where we're required to notify you.
