What this guide covers
Every vial ships sealed and lyophilized (freeze-dried) under its lot's certificate of analysis. Reconstitution means bringing that powder back into solution so it can be measured, diluted, or used in a downstream research application. This guide walks through that process, how to store a compound before and after reconstitution, and how to verify a lot — nothing more.
General reconstitution technique
Bring the sealed vial and your diluent to room temperature before opening.
Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab and let it air-dry.
Add diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial rather than directly onto the powder.
Swirl gently to dissolve. Do not shake — agitation can damage peptide structure.
Let the vial stand until the solution runs clear and free of particulate before use.

Multi-compound blends (CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin, BPC-157 + GHK-Cu + TB-500) list combined mass on the label — check your certificate of analysis for the per-compound breakdown of a specific lot.
NAD+ is a coenzyme rather than a peptide — it carries no counter-ion and its certificate reports no peptide-content figure. It is also more sensitive in solution than most peptides here, so its refrigerated window is shorter.
Sterile Bacteriostatic Water (10 mL) is USP-grade water intended as a diluent for reconstitution and is not a compound itself.
Before reconstitution (lyophilized powder)
Keep unopened vials in a freezer around −20°C, desiccated and protected from light. Avoid letting stock repeatedly warm to room temperature and re-cool — cycling temperature stresses the freeze-dried structure even before the vial is opened.
After reconstitution
Refrigerate at 2–8°C, out of direct light — foil or an amber container works well. Avoid shaking or vigorous agitation, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which can fragment peptide chains and reduce integrity. Label the container with the lot number and the date it was reconstituted.
When to discard a solution
— Visible cloudiness or precipitate
— Discoloration from the original clear or near-clear appearance
— An unusual odor
— Past your lab's determined use window — commonly cited as roughly 2–4 weeks refrigerated for many peptides, though stability varies by compound; treat this as a starting point for your own protocol, not a guarantee.
Personal protective equipment
Gloves and eye protection are standard practice any time you're handling concentrated research chemicals, solvents, or glass vials.
Workspace
Use a clean, disinfected, dedicated surface, kept separate from food-prep areas. Keep every vial labeled with its lot number for the life of the container.
Sharps & glass disposal
Dispose of needles, syringes, and broken glass in a puncture-resistant sharps container. Never place them in household trash or recycling — follow your local hazardous-waste guidelines.
Spills
Contain the area, absorb with an appropriate material, disinfect the surface, and dispose of waste according to local regulations.
Verifying a lot
Every lot ships with a certificate of analysis. Confirm the lot number printed on your vial matches the COA before use, and contact support if they don't match.
